Q&A With the Author:

Hi. Thanks so much for having me. I’m Award-winning Author, Jennifer Faye and I write heartwarming sweet romances. I’ve had over fifty books published with Harlequin, Tule Publishing and Hallmark Publishing. When I’m not plotting my next book, you can find me curled up with Writer Kitty, a cup of tea and a good book.

What was your inspiration for writing this book?

I wish I could give a specific incidence that ignited my imagination for this book, but I’m afraid there isn’t one. Instead I got to know the characters and let them tell me their story. It’s a lot of fun when a book works out that way. It makes me anxious each day to hear what the characters have to say and to have the story unfold in front of me. Of course there are those times when the characters get stubborn and don’t tell me their innermost secret until near the end of the book. Then I have to go back to the beginning and fill in the gaps. Each book’s creation is different and so is the writing process.

What did you enjoy most about writing this book?

Family. I love that families are formed in all different waysand look different. The most important part is the love that bonds them. And when loves wins, it’s the best.

Do you have any other books you are working on that you can tell us about?

A LIGHTOUSE SNAPSHOT is the fourth book in The Turner Family of Bluestar Island. Even though it’s a part of a series, it can be read as a standalone as it has its own couple and their HEA.

As I write this, I’m starting the draft of the fifth book in the series, INHERITING HER ISLAND HOUSE. I’m very excited to see where the characters take this story. At the beginning of each book, I always have my idea of how each book should go and the characters have a totally different idea. In the end, they get their way or they quit talking to me. Lol.

I’m also editing the fourth and final book in my Seabreeze Wedding Chapel series, THE BRIDE’S ANTIQUE RING. This series is centered around the Perky Pink Wedding Company and a little chapel set on the coast that overlooks the Pacific Ocean. It’s about a group of friends that support each other as they find their HEA.

Can you tell us about what you have planned for the future?

I plan to continue writing the Bluestar Island series. Right now, there are a total of nine books set on the small island that has a small town. It’s filled with unique characters that pull together in times of need but there’s also a bit of gossip, drama and an escape-artist goat called Dash.

I also have some new series in the works. My newsletter is the best place to learn about what’s going on in my writing world. My presence on social media is hit or miss depending on my work schedule, but I’m pretty good about staying on top of my newsletter.
