Q&A With the Author:

What was your inspiration for writing this book?
There were a few things, Summer’s journey into healing from grief over her mother pulls me through each book. I lost my mom a few years back and this part of her character arc resonates with me. And, along with the murder, the idea of second chances all the way through the book propelled me forward.

What did you enjoy most about writing this book?
The final scene was the most fun to write.

Do you have any other books you are working on that you can tell us about?
I also just released a historical, “The Lace Widow: an Eliza Hamilton Mystery.” Hoping to start writing the next book in that series soon.

Can you tell us about what you have planned for the future?
I am finishing up the third book in the Charlotte Donovan series (writing as Mollie Cox Bryan), “Hedy Lamarr’s Lost Ecstasy.” And I will be releasing a novella in the the Buttermilk Creek series this summer.
